Overview

Large-Scale Systems Management Lab. research is aimed at developing mathematical modeling and simulation techniques for design, control and architecture of large-scale systems such as large-scale data centers and computer/communication networks, with which the resulting systems achieve high performance, low vulnerability and highly efficient energy saving. Our research focus is on network-science oriented design framework, fundamental technologies and highly-qualified services, in particularly for large-scale computer and/or communication network systems.

13/11/2020 Team LSM-NAIST (Mr. Fujita (M2), Mr. Matsunaga (M2) and Mr. Tanaka (M1)) won the Finalist Award at Hacking Sprint in JPHACKS2020.

JPHACKS is one of the largest hackathons for students in Japan. The team LSM-NAIST developed a smart IoT box using blockchain at Hacking Sprint in a one-week development period, and won the Finalist Award. They will participate in the Award Day on Nov. 28, 2020.

11/11/2020 Team naist-lsm (Mr. Hara (D3) and Mr. Fujita (M2)) won the Best Performance Award at the workshop of ITU AI/ML in 5G Challenge Global Round in Japan.

Mr. Hara (D3) and Mr. Fujita (M2) formed the team naist-lsm and participated in ITU AI/ML in 5G Challenge Global Round in Japan and won Best Performance Award. They will participate in Grand Challenge Finale (Dec. 15-17, 2020).
